Mr. Udaya Mohan Shrestha is a well-known personality in Nepal. He founded Pension Vasana more than 30 years ago with an aim to provide a comfortable stay to the tourists when they visit Nepal. He is a visionary and advocate for modern Nepal. He wears multiple feathers in his hat. He is also an entrepreneur, banker, politician, national veteran Table Tennis champion and a social worker.
He is the former chairman and currently the director of “A” class Bank of Nepal; Prime Commercial Bank. He is also the chairman of one of the oldest NGO in Nepal. Having studied from Kobe University in Japan, his expertise in Japanese culture, business and language have helped Nepal to obtain various business opportunities with Japan, China, India and other parts of the world.
He is supported by his loving wife – Kohinoor Shrestha who is a dynamic social influencer who is also an active member of Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club and Active Women of Nepal (AWON) club. She always adds a hint of homely environment to the hotel which makes the tourists come back to Pension Vasana for more. Her soothing and calming personality, indigenous smile and enthusiasm for Hotel Pension Vasana is commendable.

To carry forward the legacy of Mr. Udaya Mohan Shrestha, Sahaj Shrestha is a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. Having studied from one of the most reputed school in India, living for 10 years in India and graduated from top University in Japan, living 15 years in Japan, Sahaj is a dynamic young entrepreneur who is connecting Nepal with Japan and rest of the world. He believes that Nepal has a competitive advantage on tourism and wants to revamp Pension Vasana and looking to introduce new and innovative ways of hospitality which will bring Nepal in the map of tourism again. Because of his multicultural experience and fluency in English, Japanese, Hindi and Nepali, he can converse well with any of the tourists from any culture allowing him to make this hotel a homely place.

After experiencing tourism industries in Nepal, Mr. Deepak Khadka then went to Dubai to gather first hand experiences from top hotels in Dubai. After a much-enriched experience of several years, he then moved back to Kathmandu and has been engaged with Pension Vasana.

After experiencing Hotel Sangri-La, went to Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino, Saipan, in USA, coming back to Nepal joined Fulbari Resort & Spa, Pokhara, Nepal. Mrs. Sumitra Maharjan has been engaged with Pension Vasana for many years. Her dedication and commitment towards the guests have been exceptionally well. Prior to joining Pension Vasana, she was engaged with multiple hotels throughout Nepal.

Mr. Ajit Thapa Magar immediately joined Pension Vasana as a Marketing & Sales Officer. Over the time, he is now over-looking the marketing, sales and promotion of the hotel. He is the point of contact relationship with travel agencies and guests.

Mr. Parmeshwor Shrestha is one of the oldest staffs of Pension Vasana. Mr. Shrestha was engaged with multiple firms mainly handling the firms’ accounts, legal and administration. With his sheer dedication, he completes the team by supporting the entire team and the guests.
